Through a grant HFL was able to purchase Braille typewriters for the Tshilidzini Special School visually impaired children’s program. The staff and children were thrilled to return from Winter break to find 5 brand new braille machines to replace the defunct and outdated ones . Huge thanks to Newman’s Own Foundation for inviting and accepting our request!
The children of the Tshilidzini Special School (TSS) receive new mattresses. HFL followers matched a $2500 grant from Newman’s Own Foundation and the first 50 mattresses were purchased, delivered, and gratefully received.
