It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our friends and longtime Hope for Limpopo supporters, Joe and Cristina Kessler, died in a tragic accident recently.
Cristina was an award-winning author, photographer and world traveler. Although she and Joe had traveled to over 175 countries, a big part of her heart resided in Africa. In an effort to “get the good news out about Africa”, most of her children’s books were set in Africa.
It is impossible to do justice to the amazing life/love story of the Kesslers. Explore her website to learn of their amazing adventures together.
She was a great friend and early supporter of HFL sharing her time, talent, and donations with us so that we could continue “to promote the safety, education and well being” of the children of the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The depth of her creativity and friendship can never be replaced.
